A SHARED HISTORY
GUASFCU was founded to provide affordable, accessible and convenient banking services to Hoyas. Nearly 40 years later, over 60% of Hoya students choose GUASFCU.
The mission of the Georgetown University Alumni and Student Federal Credit Union is to grant credit for provident and productive purposes, to provide affordable financial services to its members, and to educate its members and volunteers about the credit union movement through practical business experience .
THE BRANCH
Visit our branch in the Leavey Center between the bookstore and Vital Vittles. During the school year, the branch is open 6 days a week until 6:30PM so you'll be able to bank with us no matter your schedule. During breaks and the summer, the branch has variable hours, but a representative will always be available to assist you via phone or email except for federal banking holidays.
THE INTERNSHIP
GUASFCU is the largest entirely student run financial institution in the world, in total assets under management and in membership. All 150+ interns from the tellers to the CEO are Georgetown undergraduate students.
